  Purchased raw chicken breast that was pre sliced in the poultry aisle. This is the second time in a row where the chicken was stringy and I could not eat. My wife got sick from how horrible this chicken was. I guess the staff doesnt give two rips about quality and will just pass along anything in the store Safe to say I will never buy groceries here again and I will be speaking with the department of health on the sanitation and standards of the meat department here. It is atrocious.

  Review for Food Lion – Raleigh, NC The store was clean, and it was easy to find the items I needed. The self-checkout attendant was friendly and personable, which made for a smooth checkout experience. However, I had an awkward moment where I almost ran into someone who had two bananas in their cart. I was exiting one aisle, and they were exiting the one next to it—it was too close for comfort. I also noticed a single black hair tie on the floor near the self-checkout area, not far from the surveillance camera. This detail stood out to me because similar items have been seen in other Food Lion locations and locations not associated with the store across North Carolina. What really caught my attention, though, was a turquoise dental floss pick found on the ground just outside the driver’s side door of my car in the parking lot. These floss picks also tend to show up in oddly specific locations, which raises questions about intent and meaning.   Friendly staff. Tina who works the self-checkout is so sweet and so wonderful. And I love her frames that she has for her collection of glasses!
