  I did an online order for a few things for my kids and I. When the order arrived we began eating the items. I ate a Drumstick ice cream cone that was so soft and chewy. We all know ice cream cones should not be soft and rubbery…..Something said go look at the box in the freezer. The ice cream’s best by date was………Aug 31,2025. I was livid I called the store and Andrew didn’t seem to care, attitude was horrible. So I called the next morning spoke with the manager. I don’t think the problem would be fixed but check the dates on your foods. Because 6 month old ice cream shouldn’t still be on the shelves of a grocery store or anyone freezer. And let’s not talk about me going to pick up my gift card in the morning before work and Dashay was the RUDEST and NASTIEST person ever! I greeted her, she doesn’t say anything back and she stands and looks at me like what do I want. I informed her I was there to pick up a gift card. She ask me for what and I told her. She didn’t try to apologize or nothing her response was you gonna have to come back later no one here and she played like she didn’t know who I was speaking about but guess who she called when things got heated….Adam! Just plain rude and like I told her your customer service skills are horrible and for the day to just be starting this is horrible. You don’t talk to ppl like that. Not one time was I nasty to her but as so as she started taking slick yes I did go off on here because your rude! I wasn’t begging for nothing. And to think I was gonna spend money there! Nope I left! I don’t want excuses for why ppl act rude and nasty to patrons at your store, I’ll save my money and go else where

  This Food Lion is horrible after my experience today. I will not be going back. So first of all, I had a lot of stuff in my cart didn’t want to use self check out because all of the stuff not that I was lazy. Those things are just a headache when you’re ringing up so many things cause they keep going off and that you forgot this item so I’ll try to avoid self check out when I got a lot of items It was no registers open. She had to call someone up There to ring me up The lady had such an attitude when I said hey, how are you doing? No response as she was bagging my groceries. She was throwing them in the cart Oh, and she also said to her friend at self checkout he can’t just use self cheak out If you’re gonna be lazy, And have a attitude don’t even come. There’s other people that could have your position with a better attitude She’s lucky I kept my composer

  never any staff around to help. and when you do ask someone, they literally tell you no. I go to this place often, I walked around the store for 10min looking for one item and couldn't find it. I asked one of the cashiers is there anyone that can help me find something there are no workers around, she literally told me "oh no there's nobody" and then I ask her "what about customer service can I go ask them if they can help me find one thing?" and she said "oh no honey there's nobody around like that here. we don't have people to walk around with you like that we don't do that here" how condescending is that? to make it worse she points me to the papers by the entrance and tells me there's a directory there and i already know what it is, it's just an alphabetical list of general information, as if I can't read the descriptions on each aisle. she then processeds to grab it and hand it to me. so rude. Literally can't even ask to find ONE ITEM. telling me there's nobody to walk me around as if I need a tour of the place. as if I need someone to hold my hand. mind you I'm in my late 20's and she's in her 60's. I did my best not to be rude to her but she did her best to be rude to me. Don't waste your time asking anyone for help here.
