Took over an hour for our dishes to be served, people who arrived after us were served and done before we even got food on the table. Order 1 the stake was rare thankfully the waitress overheard us mention this and offered to make a new plate. We asked for it to go ahead and be boxed up due to the time it took to cook the first round. Plate 2 the stake was cold, but not worth the time to send back to wait. Plate 3 the stake was medium rare when expressly asked for well done. Not only was it NOT done, but it was tough and had zero flavor. The chickens were great but overall very small, and everyone seemed to enjoy the loaded potatoes. That is one statehouse I won't be ordering a stake from again.

They gave us a cozy booth, helped navigate my allergies, and checked in frequently to be sure we enjoyed our meal. The grilled shrimp appetizer was delicious. The salads were very satisfying. The potatoes were tasty. But the star was the steaks. My steak first came out a bit overly charred. I wasn't planning to make a fuss, but the lovely server Macey (SP?) saw that it was a bit overdone, and took it back to fix it. Her manager Bill cooked the replacement himself, and made sure it was done the way I needed it to be. Spouse got filet mignon, but agreed that my ribeye was even better. It was a delightful experience, and we're very glad we went. Thank you for the sweet date you helped us have!
