After placing my order, several items were marked as out of stock. I attempted to communicate with the shopper through the app regarding replacement options but received no response.
When I arrived at the store, I noticed that some of the items marked out of stock were, in fact, available on the shelves. Since I was already in the store, I went to the front to ask for assistance. The first employee I approached showed little concern and directed me to another associate who was unable to help. I was then redirected again, and each employee seemed unsure of how to handle the situation.
When my order could not be located in the system initially, an associate had to log into a second device, which further delayed the process. Given the confusion and lack of clear assistance, I requested to speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, the supervisor I spoke with was condescending and dismissed my concerns by stating that the store was busy due to an approaching storm. While I understand the increased demand, this should not excuse poor communication or customer service.
This experience could have been avoided if the shopper had communicated through the app regarding substitutions and if staff were better prepared to assist with to-go orders.

Poor customer service by management.. HORRIBLE Wegmans have way better customer service across the street.
