    The customer service manager on duty on 2/15/ 2026 around 7:00pm short Spanish lady with glasses is a very rude woman. She is rude to customers she is suppose to be a lead for other staff but she is not. She is flat out rude. No patience, loud, distressful, & treats customers as if the money they spend here is not valued. Something needs to be done regarding her professionalism. To take out her personal feelings in her job as a manager is sad. Because a customer tells you that you are rude and unprofessional for you to than say “ well I’m just nit gonna give you a discount at all” is very very unprofessional. Especially on items that customers were told that were discounted .Food lion is not her business she is an employee. And then to argue with a customer infront of people she supervises as well as other customers is also very unprofessional. This is not the first time I’ve had interactions with her rudeness. She needs to take accountability & if she does not like her job she shouldn’t be there. She also was talking negative about other employees and. Other managers as I walked by her in the wake with the candy that was on well. The entire time I was there I heard her smh so sad. Corporate or the GM needs to investigate her behavior. Pull the cameras and see how she behaved. Her demeanor, her voice, body language, tome just everything all wrong as the face of Food lion she should not be in charge of anyone.

    I shop at this food line at least 3xs a week. I spend a lot of money in this store. Today I walked in and I grabbed some things as I normally do. When I walks in I noticed the roses were on sale. The nice cashier also told me that the valentine cards were on sale as well. I picked the ones I wanted and proceeded to the candy aisle beceuse the cashier also told me they had sales there. As I walked by the customer service manager” short Spanish lady with glasses was talking to other staff menders about other staff members and mangers. I just walk by and I hear here. Very u professional. I get what u need and check out I stopped at the customer service desk beceuse I notice that the Valentine cards were not on sale as I was told. The cashier also very kind at the time called over the same manager. She comes over asking me what the prices are” um I’m the customer” I explained to her what I was told. She thanked me gets on the phone and calls someone else regarding the discount. Who told her to give a 50 percent. She continues to complain to whomever she called about the prices while I’m standing there. So I tell her she’s being rude & as a mager she shouldn’t speak in front of the customers as she does it’s very u professional. She proceeded to argue with me and decided not to give me a discount at all. I am not sure who trained her on customer service skills but she is very very unprofessional. To argue with a customer infront of other customers is diabolical. And than for her to make the decision not to discount the cards as if she owns Food Lion is also unacceptable behavior/ I am in the hospitality business and I am a GM so I know customer service. This is not the first time she has been rude she has done this before. She needs to be spoken to beceuse the money I spent here I will no longer come here to spend.

    I usually walk into a Food Lion expecting the classic experience: flickering lights, a mysterious smell, and at least one aisle that feels like it hasn’t been restocked since 2008. But this location? Not that! This Food Lion is clean, organized, and doesn’t give off "sad" energy. The shelves are stocked, the produce looks alive, and the employees actually seem like they want to be there. Honestly, it feels like the overachiever sibling in a family of chaotic Food Lions. 10/10 for being the most functional Food Lion I've ever stepped into.
