  I’ve been ordering cakes from here for several years, and unfortunately the experience is the same every single time: the cake is never ready when I arrive. I’ve tried every possible way to order, going in person, calling ahead, and ordering online and somehow they still can’t find the order when I come to pick it up. At this point it almost feels like a running joke. Today was especially frustrating. I called this morning and left a message to place an order, but no one ever called me back. After calling multiple times, I finally reached someone who told me I needed to come in person to order. So I did. I came in, paid, and clearly wrote down exactly what I wanted on the cake. When I returned to pick it up, they hadn’t made it and no one seemed to know anything about the order. I’ve now been waiting over 15 minutes while they try to figure it out, with ice cream and my kids melting in the car. To make matters worse, they also tried to give me the smaller cake even though I clearly paid for the larger one and can show the charge for it. I understand that mistakes happen, but when this has been the experience consistently for years, it’s incredibly frustrating. I really hope they can improve their ordering and pickup process.

  DQ is back! Unfortunately challenging to find one in NC. I wish more gas stations had a DQ. Great idea! Try more of this combo idea throughout NC please. Love their stuff even tho I should tone it down. DQ Blizzard = YUMMM. Thank you!

  The ice cream was good and the location is very interesting. It’s by no means any different, but it’s located in the same building as a gas station.

  I was here tonight around 5 pm and I just have to say WOW. The gentleman working at this location was a SILENT SLAYER!! He was so polite and attentive, he deserves a raise/promotion. He overheard me saying I wish I did something with my order & he noticed that I was driving and not only did he give me a taller cup so I could eat and drive-he did what I said I wished I did! They don’t make employees like him very often, pay that man his money!!
