  Visited here today for 2 items, flowers and wine (40$) for Valentines Day, a Saturday. Ten people in line, one cashier. Went to self checkout and since we're not familiar with that service, asked for help from one employee at that station, an African American lady with long braids. No name plate. Without a doubt she was the rudest employee I have ever dealt with in ANY establishment. Did not want to assist in any way shape or form. Said it was "self checkout", which we already knew but we are elderly and just needed some guidance. Rude, condescending and downright nasty she was! Will never shop there again and I do stop there from time to time but no more. The lady needs to develop a more helpful attitude towards customers or find another line of work IMO. Nice store but this employee is ruining it.

  This is a convenient location exclamation point in customers just love the great customer service and of course the selection. And the prices are better than anyone's even Aldi's. Thank you Richard and Stephanie

  Definitely my go-to grocery store, Renee is super patient and helpful! ☺️ She deserves a promotion lol. I accidentally used the wrong card and she helped me return the money and re-rang up my entire order (it wasn't small either) 🙃

  They are definitely stepping up their game. Excellent prices. Earlier this fall they were selling meat cuts for BBQ, like brisket, bosin butts, pork bellies, ribs, and wings. I really hope it continues. I bought multiple pork bellies and make my own bacon to avoid the salts and sodium. Much healthier and better flavor. While there is no direct butcher counter they are improving and adding to the available selection. The recent renovations improved to look and cleanliness of the store. It's very appreciated. That includes the deli. They did add mulyself check-out lines which makes smaller amounts faster to get in and out. Nice people.

  On or about December 17th 2025, I stopped at the Mint Hill Food Lion and obtained food from their small but increasingly varied selection. Everything was delicious: -the wieners were, what I ate first, delicious -the chicken, not nuggets but the larger were delicious -the chicken wings, I like them plain and they were nice, a little crispy and delicious -the scalloped potatoes were delicious -the red potatoes were delicious -the cheese stcks were delicious Additionally, bring back the rice. Otherwise, WELL DONE!
