  We visited today at Cocos restaurant, my first impression was how beautiful the restaurant is. The environment is really nice!! Our food was super good!! I had the sopes and compared to other restaurants we WERE able to combine proteins I had the carne asada, pastor and the carne asada and chorizo mix it’s so good. Our sever Danny was super sweet and he was very attentive!! 10/10 food experience.

  I’ll wait her. Danny is very a very nice and caring asking us what we need. We needed. The service is wonderful here. Plus he made us laugh here too. He bought some water and he said it was magic water from Mexico. Ha. Ha ha. It was really fun to have somebody that’s caring about us on. We will also come back here all the time. And the food is great and wonderful. Thank you so much. You need more people like him here. Serving. PS. It makes her day. We were sad. Feeling sad but he made us laugh. He’s a great great server.

  Great restraint! Well designed and cozy seat, Coco separates itself from similar restaurants in the Charlotte area. Our server Danny was kind and very attentive. He noticed we were running low on chips and drinks before we even noticed! A exceptional service. Would recommend to eat here for lunch or dinner! Have had both and been happy with the experience both times! Try their fresh guacamole as an entree, we recommend it!

  After moving to Charlotte from California, I had lost all hope of ever eating good Mexican food again. Wearily I held up my shield to defend myself from waves of bad tacos like waves lapping up against my shore. Then, CoCo opened up down the street from me. Skeptically, my wife and I journeyed there for what was sure to be another mediocre to terrible meal. Then the food came. The first bite was sublime, like an oasis in a desert of bland burritos, I was rescued; redeemed, whole. If you want a delicious Mexican meal, find your way here. Ask for Dani. He will take amazing care of you. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have lengua tacos to consume.

  As someone who grew up in California, we have struggled to find truly great Mexican food since moving to North Carolina. So when I say my husband and I have eaten here every week for the last year, you know the food is good. From the moment the food hit the table, I could tell it was a step above the usual. The food had flavor and was authentic, not drowned in liquid cheese like other places out here. The asada and shredded chicken are my favorite but I haven’t had anything here I didn’t like. They’re always pretty busy but the servers work hard and managers are always on the floor. Dani is frequently our server and he’s always so nice about my husband encouraging me to order in Spanish. 😂 “No lechuga, no frijoles, tomates extra” I hope I spelled that correctly. 😭 If you’ve been on the same hunt for solid Mexican food in the Charlotte area, this place is absolutely worth trying.
