  In a previous post I gave penarbred a 5 star. I will no longer give panera a 5 star nor will I ever again step into a Panera Bread here's why. upon my last interaction with them my bill came out to 3.62. the girl asked for exact change or debit card. I asked why she said there's a penny shortage (which there is not by the way) and if I didn't have exact change or debit card my bill would be rounded up to the nearest nickel not my change rounded up to the nearest nickel they even had a sign on the counter asking for exact change or to utilize a debit card. Last year Panera Bread had 484 billion transactions which could translate anywhere from 5 - 20 million dollars in additional revenue with this premise so with that I put them on the no drink zone. On to Dunkin or better yet, a local coffee shop...support local.

  HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It always takes them forever to take your order no matter what time or what day you go in there to start with. Came in there for lunch today and nobody else was in line at that time. There was a lady over by the coffee and first of all she came over and line jumped in front of us and told the lady about to take our order that they were out of coffee. You would think that she would’ve looked at the lady and said oh OK. Let me get these people‘s order and I will get someone to get some coffee out. NOPE, she came out from around the counter and grabbed the empty coffee urn and carried it to the back. She then stayed gone for quite some time and came out with a full coffee urn Pushing it on a cart, then went over to the coffee stand And started replacing the coffee while we were standing there. I sat and watched the manager and some of his coworkers laugh and kid around while we were still standing there. I don’t know why the lady taking orders had to stop to fill up coffee and beverages when other people were just walking around the restaurant?? Or I don’t understand why she didn’t at least call the manager over there who was doing nothing to help do that? We got so frustrated after waiting about 15 minutes for them to restock that we left. On the way out the door the manager finally walked over and said can I take your order? I said no, my husband is pissed after standing here waiting, and he shrugged his shoulders and said oh well ! He didn’t care either. The only person that cares about this stuff in the big picture is the one who owns that franchise who I hope is reading this!! Too many options in that area to eat at especially for overpriced soup and sandwiches!!

  Best sandwich around. I'll definitely recommend this place over any other. Joe is outstanding manager who cares about his customers. Thank you guys for making my day better

  Thank You JAYDA for making our dinner Fresh !! I love how you asked me if you could remake our sandwiches FRESH !! That was very thoughtful of you. ALSO you offered me a free large drink for the extra wait. Your customer service and friendlyness is the reason we will be back. We need more people like you in the food industry. Compassion for what you do. Handling food with care. Excellent Professionalism!
