  Growing up in Queens, NY I have eaten my fair share of pierogis, and that’s one of the many foods that I missed when I moved to North Carolina. Unable to find authentic Polish pierogies was a huge disappointment. When I discovered Due North pierogi company at the Matthews farmers market two years ago it was such a blessing to have such delicious food close to home! Highly recommend! We have tried all the flavors and every one in my family has varying opinions so we try to mix it up in our household!! Nonetheless, this is a very good problem to have!!

  While not a totally negative review more of a disappointed review. If it was sold as sauerkraut, mushroom & onion pierogies. I’d give 5 star if just advertised as sauerkraut but since it said onion & mushroom I expected to taste or see some mushrooms. Absolutely none, just sauerkraut with such finely minced onions that you didn’t get the mixed taste of the three listed ingredients. The pierogi dough itself was delicious. I would not buy these again. Sharon S.

  Sampled at the farmers market and had to buy a pack of the hatch chile ones. Delicious!
