Was standing around mostly talking. After a couple of minutes, she came over to me and asked if I could use the kiosk. I politely declined as I have horrible luck with the MCD kiosk system and I can never get my customizations right when using one. It's much easier and faster to just order at the register. Plus, every time I've used one at any MCD, something usually breaks or goes wrong with it. She said that her manager will not allow them to take any orders (even though I had visited this location twice in the past couple days and ordered at the counter without any issue). After telling the manager that I did not want to use the kiosks, the manager came up front and took my order on the kiosk and walked away to let me pay. After paying, it broke and was unable to print my receipt. The manager still ended up having to use the front register to look up my order to print my receipt. The food was excellent and came out pretty quickly. There's no excuse to force customers to use a kiosk. The kiosks suck and I do not care to use them. It is far quicker and easier to have someone that is trained to take orders to take my order versus me trying to play with a kiosk for twenty minutes to place an order.
