Workers being bothered if asking a question, catching an attitude a few too many times has caused us to drive to other stores even when this one is closer. Specifically, I asked a worker in the produce department (chubbier woman red hair) if someone was out of stock or would not be sold anymore. I am vegan and am used to things getting sold down and not being sold anymore… tofu is not typically sold out. She looked and me with a look of annoyance and asked “What are you talking about?” In such a demeaning way. I just shut down for the rest of the interaction. People that work in customer service should be oriented for that job. I understand people have hard days, but not taking it out on people is where you have to show strength in. You don’t know what kind of day the other person is having.

I wonder if any other African American individual had a problem here in Lexington NC. They need a customer friendly approach.And treat everyone the same!!!!!
