  They are ALWAYS so slow and I don’t understand why because they never have a line. You’re waiting to place an order at drive thru for 10-15 before someone actually takes your order. It’s bad. This place need to go!

  Cedric has AWESOME leadership skills! Great attitude and went above and beyond to help us with our order. Can't say enough great things about him and the food. All establishments need a manager like Cedric. He was working Easter, short staffed and still fixed our online order that the app messed up. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO HIM!! THANK YOU!! Wendy's, yall could use someone like him at our local restaurant in Whiteville, N.C. This Leland, N.C. location has a super manager!!! 10 stars across the board!!! Again, thank you!! Give him a raise!! He truly deserves it!!

  Went to Order inside at 6:30pm 3/26/2026 and they locked the dining room doors. No sign that says drive through only. Just locked doors. I am a truck driver and my truck doesn’t fit in the drive through. VERY disappointed

  They decided they wanted to close early meanwhile our order already went thru this was a whole hour before close and we didn't get a message or anything. Just sat at the drive thru for 30 min being patient thinking they are just busy making the food and cleaning up… and they guy that finally decided to come and tell us wasn't apologetic at all just we closed early.

  This is the only Wendy's near us and it is consistently terrible. Always short staffed and dining room closed. Today, we stopped at 1pm, lunch time for many, and the doors were locked. The dining room was full of people. An employee rudely informed us that they were closed for "filter change" and we would have to use the drive-thru. Waited 10 minutes in drive thru line to be told they couldn't take orders for 15 minutes. The staff is always rude to customers. Complaints to management accomplish nothing. They say "thanks for the info" and never offer to make anything right. Orders are usually missing 1-3 items every time. When the dining room is open, the drink machine is always out of everything, the condiment station is almost always empty, and the restaurant and restrooms are always filthy. I guess I'll drive across the bridge to Wilmington next time my child requests Wendy's because I have given this place numerous chances since moving here 1 year ago and it keeps getting worse instead of better.
