Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- PSPaul stubblefield6 days ago5.0It was very good, we had breakfast for lunch and the food was hot and very good. The pancake was face-sized, filled the plate. It was recommended by the good folks at the Sullenburger aviation museum. Go and enjoy a good meal at a mom and pops place.

Also, realized after I left, I was charged for 2 pcs of cheese on both burgers, but wasn't asked if I wanted 2 pieces and my jr burger combo order was upsized but I didnt asked for it to be upsized. I didnt pay attention as I was placing my order.

Took it back and the manager said she was one that messed up and gave me new meal. They need to change name to What burger. There's a reason that they're not as busy as other fast food places, near them. It's called bad management. Other friends have been telling bad things about this particular one. This was my first experience with their badly run store. Do better. Hire better.

Our order was wrong, the girl at the drive through asked us 4 times what we wanted on our burger, then proceeded to ring us in for the complete wrong thing and had to go back inside to get what we actually ordered. The fries were cold, and our burgers tasted like they were made 30 minutes ago. Not fresh at all, BARELY hot, and looked like they literally threw the stuff on the burger and threw it in the bag. Also forgot some of our order and was extremely overpriced.
