They deliver through door dash & don’t properly translate your selections for delivery instructions after the order is placed. We order from here frequently & always select “leave at door” through the Papa John’s website, because our dog is not friendly with strangers & our cats frequently try to run out the door. It’s easier for us to grab it after the driver has left. Never has the door dash driver just left it at the door. Not sure how the whole process works, but it’s obviously not with enough thought for the customer since delivery instructions are being blatantly ignored by the people they’re having deliver the food. I’m aware it’s more of a corporate issue, but maybe they’ll actually pay attention when their stores start getting negative reviews because of it. It’s enough to make us avoid ordering from Papa John’s. Dominoes doesn’t seem to have the same issue & they deliver through door dash as well.
