- SKS KirFeb 5, 20261.0Hardly anything stocked in the freezer case and when I finally did find something for dinner, went to check out, self-checkout was the ONLY option and it wasn't until that line was stretching down the soda aisle that they grabbed two "register trained associates" from stocking cereal to finally open a couple of registers. So Food Lion, next time I walk in there and don't see a register with a clerk open, I'll go somewhere else. I'll wait behind a housewife with a cart and half of groceries and two squabbling kids before I'll use self checkout. The grocery store isn't paying me to scan and bag my own groceries and people need jobs.

They have a few organic offerings but the store is designed for less distinctive shoppers. I wish they would open a whole foods around here. If you need something in a jam this serves its purpose.
