I joined some of my fellow lady Jeepers of Wildflower Jeep Club for the monthly dinner and loved everything about this place. There were 12 or 13 in our group and our server did not miss a beat!! From keeping an eye on our drinks (not once did anyone need to ask for a refill because she had it ready before we could even ask about it) to taking everyone's order quickly AND with nothing being wrong. Our dinners were served (and you know a group that large there is almost always something wrong but not tonight) altogether and everything was hot and delicious. The chips were warm and had a good salty flavor and were fresh.
I ordered the ACP deluxe without tomatoes and it was some of the tastiest grilled chicken I've found at a Mexican restaurant. My bestie told me the servings were large and boy was she right!! I ate what seemed like half of my meal but I brought home enough for 2 more days! The rice underneath had great flavor with the cheese all mixed in. I usually get cheese dip for my chips but I wanted to save belly space for my entree and entree only. And after seeing just how LARGE the serving was, for once in my life, I was happy to go without a beginner. One of our Jeepers ordered it and we were all commenting on how large it was. I swear all that cheese could fit into my 2 qt saucepan!
All in all a successful first visit. So much so that I will be back with hubby because there were so many other entrees that I want to try. Not to mention I missed out on fried ice cream and the yummy sounding mixed drinks (I drove bestie & I down here so no drinking for me. Hence the next visit hubby will be my driver) which means will be back and hungry.
The food was really good and came out fairly quickly. The seating was comfortable and the decor was themed well. We went in around 8:30 or so, and left about 9 if I recall correctly. Their chips are excellent and we went through three or so baskets.

My wife and I recently stopped by Casa Grande Mexican Bar & Grill on our leisurely drive back to Maryland from Florida. As a Mexican food enthusiast (and a great cook herself), my wife, who is Mexican, is pretty particular about the quality of the dishes. We asked if they could prepare something that was not on the menu for breakfast, and they absolutely nailed it. The food came out outstanding, and the owner, Manuel, was incredibly cordial and gracious. We’ve decided we’ll always make a point to return anytime we’re within a hundred miles of Jacksonville, NC. It’s that good!

Tried this spot for the first time tonight, and it is definitely on the return to list! The place is clean, relaxed, and comfortable. The staff greets you upon entry, and the server got to us quickly. The chips that come out first, you can tell were made within the hour. Same with the salsa and guacamole. The plates are HUGE and the food is incredible. Sometimes at Mexican places, the rice is a hit or miss - the rice here was completely on point. My husband demolished his birria tacos, and my quesadilla texana was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back.

Music to loud and obnoxious tunes, not traditional to Mexican restaurant culture! Food salty, chips to hard thick and oily, wife ordered taco’s came with meat only no additional toppings, I ordered fried chimichangas supposed to come with guacamole salad had lettuce sprinkled on top of soft chimichangas, very little cheese sauce, bit down on avocado stem in 1 bite, good thing I didn’t break a tooth, was as hard as a rock, showed to man that I think was the manager, he just took it and said he was sorry! Poor service and subpar food! No wonder the restaurant keeps changing names!
