- JPJoanna PryorMar 19, 20261.0I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen after today. I work with adults with mental disabilities, and my coworker and I brought them in for $1 Cone Day. I politely asked for five cones in cups since some individuals needed assistance, but was told there were no cups. After I explained their needs & was there anything available I could use due to needing assistance…the cashier looked at my group and said, “Oh, I didn’t know they were like that,” and then served the ice cream in cups. So cups were available—but only after realizing they had disabilities. That was disappointing and unacceptable. Everyone deserves respect without having to explain their situation.
