Pretty disappointed with my experience here. It was just two of us, but where we were seated felt very crammed. Eventually, two other people were seated right next to us and their table was so close to us, they had to pull it the opposite way. Even then, we still felt very close to them. We asked to be moved to another table. I didn’t realize I was going to be charged $7 to get chicken added to my salad. However, they overloaded it with tomatoes. The chicken was also bland and had no seasoning. The only good thing was the island mimosa.

I just love little hidden gems. And this Cafe is just that, you can tell it's a beloved location because it was packed on a Sunday morning!. They offer inside and outside seating which make helps for a lessened wait time. There is beautiful artwork on the walls of the little cafe rooms in the old house. They had a large menu full of lots of options and I wanted so many things. I ended up having a really great egg turkey sandwich and my friend had an amazing looking avocado toast. The stuff is friendly. The atmosphere is a little loud so if you wanted a quiet little nook, this may not be your place. But I would definitely go back and eat there again.

We got to the location and were told they were going to have a table for us within a couple minutes. 25 minutes later, waiting in the freezing cold with a 1 year old, no one had been sat after me and everyone was still being told it’s a 15 minute wait. Poor planning and service. We will not be returning

I came for breakfast - the service was excellent but the food was just ok. I ordered the crab cake benedict with breakfast potatoes. The English muffin was barely toasted, the hollandaise was bland and the breakfast potatoes were clearly recycled. They were greasy, and not hot all the way through. Overall it was disappointing, as I used to come to this location frequently when under a different name and it may have been a one-off. But it was around 10am on a Wednesday. The service was not the problem. I will go back and hope to have a better experience with the food quality.

I genuinely don’t understand how a restaurant can accept a reservation for a party of ten—including six children—and then completely fail to serve any food two hours later. Our reservation was at 11:00 AM, and by 1:00 PM we were still sitting there hungry, frustrated, and wondering if anyone in the building actually cared. From the moment we arrived, things felt disorganized. Despite having a reservation, we waited to be acknowledged and then were seated with the expectation that service would begin shortly. Instead, we spent the next 120 minutes watching other tables receive food while our table of ten was essentially ignored. Let me be clear: waiting a little longer than usual during a busy brunch rush is understandable. Two hours without food is not. This wasn’t a small table of patient adults—this was a group with six kids, who were hungry, restless, and increasingly upset while we repeatedly tried to get updates from staff. Communication from the restaurant was nearly nonexistent. We received vague assurances that our order was “coming soon,” but nothing ever arrived. No proactive explanation, no effort to manage expectations, and certainly no attempt to make things right while we sat there wasting half of our day. If a restaurant cannot handle large parties, it should not accept reservations for them. And if the kitchen is overwhelmed, the absolute minimum level of professionalism is honest communication and some attempt at recovery—neither of which happened here. Brunch should be enjoyable. Instead, this experience was chaotic, frustrating, and frankly disrespectful of our time. After two hours with no food, we left feeling like our reservation meant absolutely nothing. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, especially families or larger groups. There are too many restaurants that actually value their customers to spend your time here.
