  Pick up order was to be ready at 7:00 when they opened but the manager didn’t show up and they couldn’t open the door until they showed up. Finally at 7:20 we could pick up our order. Do better Panera.

  I usually do pick up or curbside or DoorDash. I will say the service is significantly better here than at the North Main location. They have problems, but I do think they are getting better. I like the food at Panera, and I would say it is a generally fresh with good ingredients. My problem, they are just too expensive. I realize that food is more expensive on DoorDash, and that is something I am trying to cut out of my life. I got in a bad habit of doing that during COVID and directly after COVID I went through a serious illness. Still their price increases are not specific to DoorDash. It should not be $15 for a cup of soup that is never full and half a grilled cheese. That is my standard order, and it is delicious, but ridiculously expensive. They used to have Duets where you could get certain items, like a half a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup for $8.99. They discontinued that. I think they would generally do a better business if their prices were more reasonable. What I order is one of the cheaper things on the menu. If you get a different sandwich or want a bowl of soup versus a cup, you would be in for close to $20, and that would be before your beverage. They are just too expensive. When you have to go in and stand in line and try to read a menu in front of you and order, find a table, then go pick up your food when they call your name, that is fast food and it should not be this expensive. If you want to charge like a more upscale casual restaurant, be a more upscale casual restaurant. As long as I am walking through a line and getting my own food, you are not that.

  It’s been a while since I visited this location. Not sure what’s happened with the food quality/accuracy but this morning I decided to order breakfast for pick up for my family. I only ordered 4 items and two of the customized sandwiches were missing ingredients that I requested (tomatoes for the chipotle chicken and arugula for the sprouted grain) and both had very little filling. The croissant breakfast biscuit looked like someone just smashed it together. I was already home and starving so I did not go back for a refund. It really does not taste like it used to. Very disappointed in this location…!
