I made a reservation with a large party of family friends at this restaurant & we drove an hour and half to come here from Raleigh area. I can’t begin to describe how unpleasant my experience was here. I would not recommend this place to anyone with thier families events. The food took approx two hours to arrive. We had to order pizza for the kids cause they were getting impatient, The quality of the food was absolutely bland taseless, The food was not fresh & the karahi oily and skewers were extremely dry. They added 15% gratuity which is normal when you provide service but the naan came much after the food was already served & they never even ask to refill any of the drinks.
I called back to give my feedback to the owner and they say we dont any managers available & the owner hardly ever comes to the store.

We visited this restaurant after a while since it has always been our go-to place for Pakistani cuisine. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. We were a group of about 10 people, including kids, and despite the restaurant not being very busy, our food took almost two hours to arrive. We were seated around 5:40 PM on a Saturday and received our food close to 7:40 PM.
The quality of the food was far below their usual standard. The goat karahi tasted more like a regular curry, the chicken karahi even had a hair in it, and the malai boti and other skewers were dry. Overall, the dishes lacked flavor.
This was supposed to be a family gathering, but the long wait time, poor service, and disappointing food taste ruined the experience. The only thing that was good was the tea. Sadly, they have significantly dropped their standards. I would not recommend this place any more.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times from past year or so but last night it was really bad. We order a platter all the meat on the platter was dry. We order charsee tikka it was burned. They only had one Chef working last night and the food came out after almost 50 minutes or more. The Daal Makhani was very disappointing and tasteless, over and all very bad experience and I’m very disappointed, it used be one of my favourite restaurant. I live in Cary and drove almost hour and a half to eat there. I know restaurant business is not easy, but last night everything was wrong
They must’ve changed the cook who probably is still struggling with how to prepare Indo-Pak cuisine correctly.

Visited Salt and Pepper with my family yesterday and had a great experience overall. The food was flavorful and well-prepared.
What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service from our waiter, Akshay. He was attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. His warm and professional demeanor made our visit all the more enjoyable.
Thank you, Akshay, for the remarkable service, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We order for the food at 6pm and tell the receptionist we will be at the restaurant at 7pm. Upon arriving at 7pm we ask them about our order and to our surprise they have not placed the order for our food to be ready by 7ish pm. To me they have the worst customer service. They didn’t even apologize for their service.
