We went inside and up to the ordering line and saw a big sign that said OUTAGE, and that they had basically no meat. No chicken, steak, carne Asada. Obviously I was quite disappointed, but figured it was a temporary thing. Then we went back the other day, about a week later. There was still a sign about this alleged “outage”. I understand sometimes that restaurants are out of stuff, so it wasn’t any more than an inconvenience. However, I cannot comprehend why or how this place is even open when they have zero meat in the building. All of this, as I said, has just been a minor inconvenience/annoyance. However, the reason for the poor review, is because I just called this location to inquire about the availability of the meats they’ve been supposedly out of, and my call gets answered by none other than one of those stupid AI clanker phone things. It was utterly useless. I was calling to ask a REAL person if the outage had been resolved. I said “let me talk to a real person” and the clanker said something like “I cannot help with that”. Why even have a phone number for the location if nobody answers it??? Honestly, I think I’m just done going to this chipotle location. Edit I’m sorry for being bitter. I’ve just really wanted chipotle for like two weeks now. We’re here now and the food is delicious. Still upset about the stupid robot phone system but the employees here are nice and the food is great. Just quite expensive for shrinking portions. Changing review from 2 to 3 stars.
