  Great lunch! Love the otaku (anime lover) vibe. Super delicious, would recommend anything that says katsu you cant go wrong.

  Easily the best ramen spot in Hickory. Best ramen spot I’ve attended in the surrounding counties as well. I go in occasionally and tend to just order the bombin ramen. The place is clean, the service is prompt, and everyone there is very friendly and kind. It’s never too loud and I have never had an unpleasant experience. The wait staff checks on you often, basically whenever they’re free to do so. The only thing I don’t like is that the portions are not larger. Not to say that the portions aren’t standard size, it’s just so good and I’m a very hefty man. Love this place. Go check it out. Heard the non-ramen food is great too, but I go there just for the ramen. Maybe one day I’ll try the katsu or takoyaki.

  If there were half stars, I’d give it 3.5 out of 5. Food ordered: Takoyaki, Karaage, Katsudon. Pros: The food tasted pretty good (4/5), the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. Cons: Since it’s still a new restaurant, it didn’t feel very organized yet — the wait was long and there were a few order mistakes. Also, it’s an open kitchen, but it didn’t look very clean. Recommendation: If you like Japanese anime or food, it’s worth trying. Not recommended for: People who are particular about cleanliness. 만약 별 반개가 있었다면, 3.5점. 먹은 음식: 타코야키, 가라야게, 카츠동. 장점: 음식 맛 괜찮음 (4.5점), 직원들 친절함, 가게 분위기 좋음. 단점: 아직 가게 초창기라 그런지, 가게가 정돈 된 분위기는 아니었음 (오래 기다려야 함 + 약간의 주문 오류), 오픈 주방인데 위생이 좋지는 않아 보였음. 추천: 일본 애니나 음식 좋아하면, 시도해보기 좋음. 비추천: 본인이 위생을 많이 신경 쓰는 사람이면 비추.

  I’m not really sure how to feel about this place. We stopped here on our way to Charlotte from Elk. The broth was warm, but its flavor was good. The meat was bland and dry, and the vegetables were overcooked and not very fresh.. The bao buns and gyoza were good, though. Service was okay, our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed.

  It seems like a young teenagers run a Ramen Shop, from decorations to fairly unkempt and unclean dining/kitchen area. Menu had variety, some stuff was good, other things were barely edible. The Gyoza were good, the Bao Buns were OK, the Ramen was not really good. Luke warm broth, tacky noodlesz weird, slightly cold pork straps, or chicke..couldn't tell. Had the Kimchi Ramen and another version, dunno. Woke up today and have been in and out of the bathroom all day....and this was the only place we ate at yesterday.....just be weary..everything tasted kind of..old and reheated rather than fresh.
