I typically sit at the bar and Jen always starts off with an excellent service of cocktails as I ascend in to a lovely evening of dinner. I love to watch the kitchen run like a well oiled machine. I love watching all the amazing dishes come out ready to be devoured by the patrons who frequent Mezza Luna on a bustling Monday night! The staff at the bar are very well versed and educated on the specials, the drinks and the wines. The ONLY change I would make is to get rid of the barley risotto completely. It’s too dry and plain. Tonight Casey at the bar who is amazing, explained to me that the Parmesan Risotto is different than the Barley risotto. I decided to get the filet mignon with the Parmesan Risotto instead and it was amazing! It paired well with balsamic demi glaze. The Parmesan risotto is already amazing with the scallops! Will always come back for great food and wine deals.
