I placed an online order and went to pick it up, only to be met with blatant rudeness and hostility. The manager on duty, KAYLA (the only manager working the night of 1/7/26), was extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and openly confrontational from the moment I arrived. I placed a large order for my family—this was not a minor purchase by any stretch. Kayla claimed my order was “nowhere to be found” in their system. Despite me clearly presenting both my order confirmation and the charge reflected in my bank account, she flatly stated that she “didn’t care” because it was not showing on her screen. I immediately contacted customer support, who confirmed without hesitation that my transaction was valid and visible on their end. They could not understand why the store could not see it and explicitly stated that it was the manager’s responsibility to fulfill my order. Kayla refused anyway, denying me the food I had already paid for, offered no solution, took no accountability, and instead told me to leave the store. What makes this situation even more upsetting is that I have always believed Chick-fil-A to be a company known for respect, professionalism, and going above and beyond to meet customer needs. That expectation was completely shattered. Being spoken to and treated this way—after paying a significant amount of money—is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, and accountability displayed by this manager was shocking and deeply disappointing.
