I love Bojangles, but this store in Hampstead is disappointing. It seems like it was a concept build instead of their tried and true design and business model. It has ordering kiosks that many folks don't care for. An older couple there ahead of us was having a rough time and got frustrated at the kiosk.
The food was good, but kinda slow. Employees seemed friendly. Dining area was much smaller than a "normal" Bojangles.

Everything was hot and fresh. Definitely one of the better Bojangles we have been to. We did not go inside.

This had to be the worst Bojangles I've ever been in. The restaurant wasn't very busy but it was dirty.... trash cans both inside and outside the restaurant were over flowing. The bathrooms look like they hadn't been cleaned in days... the majority of the tables in the dining area needed to be washed off. There appeared to be 4 people working there but no one was covering the dining area or even the front counter. You had to order through a kiosks and they were not USER friendly and seemed to have a lot of glitches . The workers were hanging out in the kitchen area chatting. One of us orderd a coffee and it took over 10 minutes for it to come out and it was undrinkable because it was full of coffee grounds. The biscuits were got were fine but it just took forever for a place that wasn't busy no line inside and no line at drive thru. I finally asked about my ham biscuits and the girl said they should be right up.... the timer on their screen showed it was already 11 minutes. She then hands me a bag that had been sitting there for a long time and it had my biscuits in it. This restaurant has a sign on the door recognizing it as a National Training Restaurant for Bojangles...... they are in trouble if this is the case. I will never return to this location and thank my lucky stars that the Bojangles around my area are run so much better

Bojangles has moved away from a food fast model. We learned buying food from them needs to be ordered in advance like pizza. We visited two different Bojangles on two different days within 24 hours of each other. One visit was for dinner at 7:30 pm Wednesday, the other visit was at 11:00 am Thursday. We canceled one order of an 18 piece box after waiting 25 minutes only to find out our food was not even in process of being prepared, after we were told 10 minutes into our wait that they were out of one side and we were welcome to substitute or wait 15 minutes for the side we ordered. Our second visit we were told up front it would be 30 minutes. We left. There is a high likelihood there will not be a third visit, unless we are in the mood to sit down and wait for our food to be prepared like a restaurant with service.
