First, what drove me here was i went to another restaurant and to get service I had to enter my order through a kiosk; i try not to touch those so I walked out. I came here, noticed there were kiosks here but the associate met me at the counter with a smile asking if she could help me. She took my order and read it back. I thought she gave exceptional service and I didn't feel like I was an interruption or her work rather I felt like I was the purpose of her work. In my opinion Five Guys keep proving the signs posted tell me they want customers and not just numbers.

Went to the store on Sunday, thinking I could grab fries and a drink quickly and be on my way. Had to order at the Kiosk (waiting in line for 2 ROTC and a woman with Children to order. after completing and paying at the kiosk (Fries and a drink), I watched every order get handled one ticket, one sandwich at a time with the fry station guy (There were total of three people working). In that time, I did not see him take any new fries out of the oil and salt them. Just scoop out what was in the bin and use those with the orders. His FIFO Single Piece Flow process had burgers ripping out of the kitchen at 1 every 5 minutes. After twenty minutes of watching the slow roll of food, I finally got my bag of fries. Yes, it was that slow, as I was able to go online to Five-Guys website to complain about the poor management of their store. I complained to the person handing me the bag about how poor their process is, while reminding them that they had not provided me the cup for the drink I ordered (Fry guy with all the time he spent on the order, did not check the order to see that it was complete). I filled up my cup with a drink, and then went over to the condiment station, tasted one fry, it was sad, soggy, and cold. So I went back to the pick up point where Fry Guy said he would remake the fries.... but my 25-minute adventure to get a quick snack already had me ready to boil. I left the drink and fries at the counter and left. Got out to the car called their number, spoke with customer service somewhere in an Asian call center, gave them all my information and receipt ticket number, they promised (Promised) someone would be calling me the next day, promised they would retract the charges immediately. Well it is the next weekend.... no one from Five-guys has called or emailed me. But I did cancel the charge with my bank.
