- AAAJax6 days ago5.0My friend has been ranting and raving about this place and today my husband and I got a chance to partake of the clean delicious cuisine. I saw a pic of the falafel plate and I had to have it. It was really delicious, especially the Mediterranean Salad( romaine was cut to perfection). The little sesame seed muffins were dee-lish. Since I am a food snob, my only complaint was it could've used a little pinch of salt. Other than that, Chef's Kiss. Proportions were plentiful ( needed a human bag to take the rest home). We will dine here again as we are new to N.C. . The staff were super and genuinely nice. Thanks for the experience.
- CMChris MNov 14, 20255.0Bateeni is one of my go to's for lunch. The food is delicious. Big fan of the chicken shawarma and gyro. Mediterranean salad is great too, especially with gyro meat on top. They are conveniently located down from ECU Health and Physicians east off of Arlington. Staff is always polite and do a great job with my orders to go and when eating in.

I accidentally left my son’s wheelchair in the parking lot, and the staff found it, picked it up, and kept it safe for me. They even offered to stay open longer since I live far away — something they didn’t have to do. That level of care and compassion is rare. So it’s not just the food that’s amazing here — it’s the people too. Highly recommend this place

Where we live, we don’t have any options for Mediterranean cuisine, so we decided to try out Bateeni for something outside of our normal options. We are glad we did! We dined in. I had the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and falafel and my husband had the beef kabob plate with hummus and grape leaves. Everything we ordered was served to us piping hot and was DELICIOUS. The portions were more than generous - enough food for each of us to eat at least 3 meals. We were provided to-go containers by the friendly and helpful staff so our excess food didn’t go to waste. While we were there, two staff members were present and both were friendly and welcoming. The dining room was mostly empty, but we figured it was because it was well past 7 pm. As we ate, a handful of folks came and went with to-go orders. We’d definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will make a return visit when in the area again.
