The employees inside and outside of this new store were so kind to my family and me. We will return.
Overall, this Food Lion is a good place to shop. The store is usually clean, organized, and easy to navigate, and they tend to have what I need in stock most of the time. Prices are reasonable, which is always a plus.
That said, there’s definitely room for improvement. Some areas could be better maintained, and the overall experience can feel a bit inconsistent depending on the time of day. Customer service is okay, but not always as attentive as it could be.
It’s a solid store, just not quite at the level that stands out. With a few improvements, it could easily be a 5-star location.

The self check out person and the short little manager literally chased me while i was walking out of the store yelling that i didn’t pay to which i responded “do you normally print out receipts for people who don’t pay?” while holding up my printed receipt. He responded “-just trying to do my job” (poorly i should add). Take some accountability and get it together folks. You should all should be embarrassed that you’re this bad at your job on day one. (also half of the parking lot lights are out already) …get it together guys
MY REVIEW HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STORE ITSELF.
It has to do with whoever the engineer was that designed this RIDICULOUS parking lot.
To my fellow Truck Drivers: Turn onto Greenbriar, DO NOT turn into the parking lot! Go up to Baylor and turn RIGHT, then turn Right into the back side of the parking lot into the DUMBEST WAY to make a delivery.
To the engineer; PLEASE DO NOT PROCREATE.

My wife and I decided to meet at the new location on Elm St. as we made our way home. We really like the stocking of meats and produce and all around newness of the store.
Downside is the choice of employees.
After working our way through our grocery list, we chose the first full service line.
The young lady finished her conversation with her coworkers then began ringing our items. I decided I was not going to speak first this time; since she wanted to talk, I felt she would greet us. Not. My wife was the bigger person and said hello.
As nice as the store is, the personnel there will prevent our return.
