Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
First time at Whataburger, huge disappointment. my double meat Whataburger was gray no crust and dry.
Fries were served hot and crispy! They also have spicy ketchup
I engaged with several employees all were very pleasant, polite and eager to provide great service.
The burger itself deserves 2 stars.
The employees ,and spicy ketchup saved the Day

Coming from a customer service background and have worked for 2 major companies and now own business. We were disappointed. From the time we got to the drive through the person taking the order wasnt paying attention on the com they were having a conversation and it wasnt business. They were making up an order of food that i didnt even order on the drive through screen and i told them i didnt order anything that was up on the screen so they had to redo the order all over again. Then when we pulled up to the window everyone looked lost. Then when we got our order it was wrong..I went inside to get my ordered fixed and on top of that other customer were disappointed..the person who saw me took my food and i told him it was not right..he looked lost and then when i got my order I dont know if it was the same food or what he just handed it back to me and didnt say a word..oh and just right before that an argument broke out between 2 employees in front of all the customers...we i will say this was quite an experience that night, hey im not mad..just disapointed all the hype about Whataburger went down the drain...the food quality well it was cold and burgers were smashed or balled up probably bc they had to fix the order and it was the same food. For the money it wasnt worth it sorry whataburger.

Mediocre at best. Asked for sauce with my fries, got charged for it, but didn't receive it. Did not ask for cheese on my burger, but the cashier took it upon herself to add 3 slices at like $.60 each. Since I went through the drive-thru, I didn't realize any of this until I got home and looked at my receipt. I'll assume it was a mistake on their part, but still won't go back. For all the hype, it was a letdown for sure.

Food is better than McDonald’s. Most employees are helpful but service gets worse after every visit. Dining area could be better; napkins, condiments on the floor, trash from previous guests still on the table. Last time I ate in I had to wipe down the table with napkins and water from the soda machine. Multiple items missing from order; had to go to register 2-3 times to fix my order. Restaurant is relatively new so they just need to find their groove but management/staff need to step it up.

I came in with too high of expectations. With the place being brand new.
My family and I went there. Our order was wrong. There was even a sticker on the burger “plain”, but it had everything on it. It seems to be a problem with that restaurant there were people standing in line with burgers in their hand having the same problem. The employee told the gentleman to order it plain instead of checking the box for no pickles, no lettuce, no mayonnaise, etc. I told the gentleman my son ordered his cheeseburger plain with cheese only and it still came with everything on it.
The drinks did not have enough syrup in it. A little on the watered down side.
The food taste I would put a little above a McDonald’s
Fries are a rip off of McDonald’s.
The boneless wings were we’re OK nothing special
Not enough tables
For the price, I would recommend bad daddy’s, big burger spot, Freddie’s, five guys.
Three cheeseburger meals with a side of boneless wings $45 for McDonald’s Quality no thank you.
