Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times, especially in the drive-thru, with some experiences exceeding 30 minutes.

I remember the true meaning of Whataburger in Florida. This was nothing like that long wait times customer service was terrible people being served raw food does customer service just not exist in Greensboro because you go somewhere else far away from this town and it's great, it all starts with management and btw is there any there? The drive through is helped out of order and they seem to only be able to take order 1 at a time and help the line that has been there for less time then you. Also hot micing is a issue because there making fun of each other being nice to be taking there order it's just crazy. Terrible terrible terrible don't eat here.

My first experience was a whataburger on wendover in Greensboro nc. I came n to the store for the first tme so I really didn't know what I wanted to eat. Debra the manager at that location assisted me in making sure my experience was the best. I'm an atmosphere and taste person. That gesture from her was beyond the call of duty and the food was good. Some places and people need to b recognized. So hopefully this review will let people know that what a burger store #1583 has and will continue to get me and my family and friends business.

I visit this particular Whataburger semi often. The location is very convenient for me. The employees are pleasant enough.
However, the drive-thru is RIDICULOUS EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there!!! No exaggeration.
You can come through the drive-thru for just a Kids Meal (which is all I usually get, very simple) and I promise you YOU WILL WAIT ANYWHERE FROM 20 to 30 MINUTES for that cheeseburger kids meal in the Drive-Thru. Additionally, oftentimes they forget to add the cheese to my cheeseburger. Making me have to circle back around if I forgot to check it before pulling out the Drive-Thru. And my fries are almost always lukewarm to cold by the time I get them right out of the drive-thru . Other than that everything else is good. The store is clean. I hope they do better because the store really does have potential and it's in a prime location.

I found the Denny's of fast food joints. The burgers are OK, but well below In N Out quality. The dining room was dirty, I guess that's why most people use the drive thru. After ordering at the kiosk, you have to wait in line to get your drink cup, but don't forget to ask for extra napkins, otherwise your back in line for those. I had just about finished my meal before they finally had my iced coffee ready, but we had to wait in that line again to get it. And yes we asked employees in the dining room for my coffee and napkins, several times, but no luck. At least they are a step up from that garbage at Cook Out, but I still don't see what the hype is all about.

WHATABURGER? Are we seriously claiming that after THIS… I’m to scream “What-A-Burger”? Well, I must say I’m definitely screaming; What A Mistake.
If it were possible to deliver a zero I would have. The burgers alone are dry and not even comparable to McDonalds in its prime. McDonald’s is also trash today in my opinion but this place is worse.
The Chicken Tenders are Dry and utterly disgraceful to ppl that enjoy a good low cost fried tender.
The fries- too salty and please change the oil! You haven’t even been in this location long enough to not care yet!
Their example of “wings”? This is an attack on human decency!
And please don’t waste your time on the chicken sandwiches. We tried them too! Also Garbage!!!
Even the carbonated beverages tasted like bleachy cleaning solution!
I can only speak for myself and everyone that was with me. We spent over $100 to test a large amount of items from this place. Each pair went in and bought different items. We tried almost everything on the menu.
Usually we have something kind and constructive to say about a place. Check the other reviews we’ve written. However this place… this is a new bottom dweller in Greensboro. Please don’t waste your time, please don’t throw away your money. It simply is not worth it. And please, please I beg of you, don’t feed this to your children if you love them. Be better than that! Show them through example that you can do better! I’m sorry I ever tried this place, but I know I will never do this again! EVER!
