Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers consistently reported extremely long wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, with some experiences lasting over an hour.

We dined in on a Saturday at about 11:30am. We waited in line to order for about 5 minutes and had no trouble finding seating. Customer service was wonderful from the women taking our order to the young gentleman that brought us our food and the several people that came around to make sure we were satisfied. Burgers were huge and very good. Fries were hot and fresh. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be back!

The atmosphere was surprisingly clean, but our dining experience was marred by a hapless cleaning staff member who seemed to be having a wardrobe malfunction – underwear exposed, pants sagging despite a belt, and a cat-like attempt to pull them up. To make matters worse, they were mopping and cleaning right next to our table. The cashier struggled to take orders, and the food delivery staff appeared more interested in their phones than serving us, especially considering the prices we were paying.

Finally gave the new location in greensboro a try. Ordered a double bacon burger no pickles combo, a double cheese and mayo only combo, 9 piece honey butter chicken wings, and a single beef patty for my dog.
We got a single bacon burger with pickles and bacon that was a little chewy. The fries are a cross between McDonald's and the good Wendy's fries. The burgers were a little dry but they are big. My dog didn't get her beef patty either. She was a little sad but she did get to eat some of momma's cheeseburger.
Now, the chicken with the honey butter??? THAT IS THE REASON TO GO BACK. THAT CHICKEN WAS FIRE.

Awful. First, we sat in the line for 50 minutes. Once you reach a certain point in the line, you can't get out because they have cones up blocking it. Secondly, the prices on the menu board are NOT what you pay! I got my receipt and realized I was charged at least a $1 more. Third, they take your card and take it in the building to pay. Why not have people standing outside to run your payment IN FRONT OF YOU? Fourth, first they brung me a bag full of drinks that was NOT my order. I ordered a burger meal.
Last but NOT LEAST ...
THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!! Bland, no flavor, seasoning, nothing. I might as well ate cardboard. No salt on the onion rings. I mean .. It was a mess. Especially for the price. And clearly the company doesn't care because they aren't even trying to reply to these negative reviews and do damage control. Definitely take your $10+ and eat at an actual restaurant. 0/10!

First time at this fast food location, I ordered a Patty Melt, the marquee prices depicted 11.69. I paid 12.39! Ordered a kids meal for 5.39, price was 5.89, they are Overcharging!
Overcharging folks, the meals are sub par, just plain bland, tasteless, no seasonings, Nothing! The name says it all, Whataburger, and what a burger it was!
The wait time was 50 minutes for my small order, I wanted to try it, I was deeply disappointed! Okay so you wait in a very long line, while one solo young man races in and out to bring you your order, and got mixed up quite a few times while he bought out several orders that did not belong to me!
Talk about disorganized, they need to start all over again! We welcomed you to North Carolina, showed mad love and this is your introduction?
A Hott Mess!
It was not worth my time!
No Thank You, Never Again...
