Our son is nonverbal autistic and loves the play place. When they got there, there were no signs in the play area of any kind. After about five minutes of playing my son comes to my husband letting him know there was something on his hands he didn’t like. It was like a sticky and really dirty looking. Then my husband noticed our son’s clothes were ruined. My son was wearing brand new under armor shorts and shirt and they are both ruined. It seems like they maybe sprayed down the play area with some cleaner and it wasn’t dry so when it got on his clothes and skin it stained it with the dirt and grime from the play area. My husband tried to speak to a manager and he said she was rude and dismissive, saying “what do you want me to do about it?” And when he asked her name she refused. I spent a lot of money of this outfit because my son wears nice clothes to church. If the play area is wet from being cleaned or sprayed down, I believe there needs to be a sign. I’m extremely upset about his ruin clothes but also this stuff got all over his hands and legs. My son has extremely sensitive skin. With him being autistic, he tends to put his hands in his mouth and Luckily it was discovered before he was able to put his hands in his mouth and get that wet, dirty, whatever it was in his mouth.
