First time going and the co-owner was so amazing! She explained everything well and had a wonderful personality that makes you want to come back and try everything! I will be returning. I tried the Biscoff tres leches, apple crisp and banana fosters cake!
I googled “pastries near me” and somehow ended up at Drizzle on Friday (1/2/26).. clearly fate.
The colorful décor and how neat everything was immediately caught my eye. Jael welcomed me as soon as I walked in and was super patient and helpful, especially since it was my first visit.
Everything looked amazing, but because I’m watching my intake, I limited myself to one dessert… even though I mentally ordered three 😭.
I chose the Biscoff Tres Leches cake and baby… 10/10. No notes.
I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu (when I’m feeling less responsible).
I think the atmosphere is really cute. It is really pretty and pink, but you can immediately tell that it is designed more for aesthetic purposes than anything else. Everything feels curated for photos and social media posts, like the owners put all their effort into making it Instagram-worthy while completely neglecting the actual quality of the food. It would be nice if they invested even half that energy into making the desserts worth eating.
Unfortunately, the place lives up to the reputation of being adorable on the inside while serving disappointing food. I always wondered how it could be so bright and charming yet have so few customers, and now I know why. The food is, at best, a two out of ten. It is not my intention to be rude, but the food is entirely too sugary. I understand that it is a dessert place, but that does not mean every bite has to taste like pure sugar overload.
I do not understand why the cakes are dry. It seems like they sit out for multiple days, and none of the food ever feels fresh, no matter what time or day you visit. Yet everything is surprisingly expensive for the lack of quality and freshness. I tried the strawberry cups several times, and I still have no idea why the strawberries were always soggy and mushy. That ties back to the overall inconsistency and the clear lack of freshness, regardless of when you go.
Realistically, I have had only one decent experience, and even that was not great. I would rate the overall experience a three out of five, and I will admit I was not sober when I ate it. I also feel they are using the wrong type of chocolate. I am not sure if it is the brand or the specific kind, but the milk chocolate covering the strawberries simply does not taste right.
What makes everything worse is that, as pretty as the establishment is, the food is mediocre at best, and the customer service is far from welcoming. The main girl who works there once gave an attitude when we asked for a receipt. On other occasions when I picked up orders for someone else, the staff were usually sitting on their phones doing nothing. As soon as I walked in, it felt like they were annoyed that I was making them do their job. The customer service is below subpar.
The food is okay at best, but if you have an extremely sweet tooth, you might like it. I would not even give it a two out of five if I did not have to. I would really prefer to rate it a one and a half. Although the atmosphere is cute, I do not feel that a cute atmosphere alone is enough.

I visited on a Saturday night around 7:45 PM. Upon entering, the young lady at the register who took my order had a rude attitude, especially when my friend and I asked for our receipts. Once we received our desserts, they were extremely disappointing.
I ordered the tres leches cake and the Oreo cake. The tres leches cake was overly saturated yet somehow still dry, and it was excessively sweet. I needed multiple bottles of water after just a few bites and could only eat about five bites before throwing it away. This was also the last cake I tried.
The Oreo cake was even worse—it was unbelievably dry and crumbled due to a complete lack of moisture. Ironically, the only moist part was the Oreo on top, which was so soggy that it was unpleasant and inedible.
While the store itself is very aesthetically pleasing, that seems to be its only positive quality. It feels like more effort is put into the appearance of the store than the quality of the desserts. I would rate the Oreo cake a 1.5 out of 10 and the tres leches cake a 2 out of 10.
This was my second visit. My first experience was also not great, but I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, I regret doing so and will not be returning.
Overall, it was clear that the desserts had been sitting out for days before being sold—or at least I hope that was the issue—because the alternative is that the food tastes that bad even when it’s fresh.
Excellent desserts from here. Very flavorful, fresh, and different varieties. My strawberries were fresh and the chocolate was so good, and plenty to enjoy with each bite. Service was good, I ordered online and my food was ready promptly. I will definitely return here.
