I love getting my blizzards at DQ, but this establishment is unreliable. They are constantly late opening this location.

I ordered a birthday cake for my wife 2 days in advance. (The DQ website doesn’t allow you to order any more than 2 days out.)
I’m having an aggressively bad day and made it here late. It was ordered to be ready by 2:00. It’s now 3:19, I just walked in, and my cake isn’t here.
They have just grabbed one out of the freezer and they’re now slapping it together while I wait.
…
The manager had the good grace to give me a (minor) discount “because I had to wait,” and the cake looks okay, if rushed. I will say they paid attention to the details I requested, so there’s nothing technically wrong with the cake.
The only explanation I was given is that it “didn’t show up in their system.”
Do better, DQ. Just do better.

I took my grandson to the Dairy Queen off Wendover in Greensboro for an after-school treat. He got a chocolate-dipped cone and I got the cherry-dipped cone. Yum! He had to taste mine, and said he wanted "to get that next time we go." So I guess we're going back, oh darn! 😁
