    Delivery driver I been waiting over 40 minutes to pick up a delivery order,and an old man in the front desk from the beginning 2 minutes will be ready and I been waiting for ever and after so long a young lady she said they don’t have chicken Alfredo and that’s,why they didn’t tell me in the beginning ,I been waiting for an hour,and I already drive 5 miles to pick the order,how this old men he been lied to me,he keeps saying 2 minutes and items not available, I am trying to make money like you too,selfish employee they waste my time for an hour and my gas,don’t lie just check and say we don’t have,I will be happy,but don’t lie,don’t say 2 minutes and you keeps me an hour and then you said items unavailable,no make sense

    Placed my order was told it’ll be done in 15 mins . I went 20 mins later to pickup Man asks what the name for order I tell him then he goes right back to bar and continues his conversation w/ o the employee who works behind bar . After he was done he told me I could come over to pay . I asked how long before it’ll be done I was told 15 mins bc the man behind bar never put in order when told . I was told they was out of another item on my order so now this is the 3rd thing they do not have . Man behind bar w/ waves low cut taper stated “It’s 15 mins bc I never rung it in I was doing other things” I’m like ok cool that’s your job is it not ? After I chose to spend my $50 with someone else establishment . For it to cost a pretty penny the customer service isn’t matching the prices Respectfully .

    Oh what a wonderful place to eat at. The service is great you feel welcomed as soon as the greeter meet you at the door. The food is top notch delicious. The food was definitely madd with love fr. I had the beef ribs cabbage and the rice. And omgg the ribs just feel off the bone like melted butter the flavors was chef kiss. The cabbage was good and seasoned and the rice was so good and buttery. But let me tell yall about they biscuits. So soft and buttery and good one of the best biscuits ive ever had. So yeaa like i said the food is phenomenal definitely 12/10 i definitely recommend. Yall get on down there and try yall some you definitely wont be disappointed. But mad sure to bring a little sweater because it be a little cold.

    I really wanted to like this restaurant. I was excited to go here after seeing a review from someone on Instagram. I went with my husband and two kids on a Sunday. We arrived around 3:25 PM. We received our drink order at 3:45 PM, our appetizer at 4:23 PM and our entrees at 4:38 PM. We received our entrees after we asked if we could just pay for the drinks and wings because of the long wait time and absent server. The wait here is absolutely ridiculous! I wouldn't mind waiting if the food was good, but that was not the case. None of the food was hot. Everything was room temperature at best. I felt really nauseous on the drive home. The food was not good. My daughter's pasta was very greasy. My husband's ox tail was just okay. The rice tasted like it came out of a bag or was microwaved. The waitress avoided us the entire time. At the end, she apologized for our experience and said that they had a few big parties. I didn't notice any big parties when I sat down. All the tables near us complained. The worst part, was when they brought you your food… that is when they tell you what items they do not have. In our case we learned that they did not have green beans. One table didn’t have fried chicken, and the other table didn’t have pinto beans. The waitress told one table, we are out of a lot of food this weekend. I have read the other negative reviews for this restaurant, and our experience was similar. The person on IG had to have been paid to say positive things. In my opinion, this is by far the worst soul food place in the city. Our bill was $124, and we didn't even eat the food. We didn't even bring it home because it was cold and disgusting. I definitely learned my lesson. I will not believe reviews found on social media.

    On arrival it took about 30 to 45 mins to be seated. After being seated it took a while for drinks to come out. The food took almost and hour to come out. We never got our biscuits after asking 3 times. I ordered the turkey wings...very bland with a load of packet gravy on top, my mashed potatoes were cold and the green beans had a bad after taste. My mom ordered oxtails, she said they were good but not great with the same packet gravy...my daughter had the salmon and rice which looked okay... In all of the food is going to take almost and hour an a half you would expect it to be really good. They also ran out of lemonade like seriously.... Everyone sitting in the restaurant you could tell we're annoyed with how long everything was taking and it wasn't even busy, even with the long wait the food could have at least been good...they need to rethink their process when it comes to food service.
