- DCDanya CowanApr 14, 20262.0I really love Wingstop's wings, but the service today was much to be desired. The app has not been accepting payments for the past week as I've tried several times to place an online order. So I decided to call in an order today for my son to pick up. I mentioned having trouble placing my order online and I was told that the app was down. Then after giving my name, I was on hold for a short while before my order was finally taken. I had an offer in the app for "20% off of an order $5 or more" and my son showed them a screenshot of my online account with the offer. He asked if that offer could be honored since their app was down and the woman said, no. There was no apology nor explanation as to why the app was down or when to expect it to be back up. Just, no. So after my son paid for the 30 piece Crew Pack, he didn't even get a receipt because he was told their receipt machine was not working either, so I have no proof of purchase. In addition, this is the first time that our wings were overcooked. They were fried to a crisp, but we didn't bother to return our food because we live practically in Pikeville and we were hungry, so we dealt with it.

But service was mediocre, laid back, no greeting in the door and no one at cash register all preoccupied. Atmosphere was okay, no where to sit, they were mopping, not wet floor sign and chemical smells from the mopping.
