  This location has some of the worst customer service. We love Whataburger…especially the ones in Texas…so we aren’t new…but with that said…if we order a sweet and Smokey burger…and they don’t put the sweet and Smokey sauce on it…don’t ask for them to put it on after. Cause they will seriously argue with you like they did to my wife this morning. You have to tell them you want the sauce on it…even though we ordered that exact burger. What sense does that make. They always mess up our order. We are not even ordering anything special. No special request. The managers are even worse!!! We are happy to have Whataburger here. But we won’t be back until they change their ways. Too many options (Dave’s Hot Chicken opening soon up the street, WeinerWorks in KM is cheaper and better) to choose besides this location…We won’t waste our hard earned money to places like this anymore.

  Extremely disappointed with this Whataburger experience. While the outside of the restaurant looks extremely inviting the outcome did not match the facade. There was no way in the drive-thru that are approximately 7 in the morning. I proceeded to order a standard sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and coffee meal. I waited behind one vehicle for six or so minutes to end up at the the window having to wait another 10 minutes for my meal be given to me. They were out of regular half and half which seems odd but sometimes happens. And when I received my biscuit and opened it down the road I was quite disappointed with the meal. The sausage was overcooked and dry. Not to mention the biscuit was hard. I'm not sure what was going on this morning but I know after decades of visits to Whataburger's in Texas this is not the standard. While the staff was friendly, they seem like they were distracted and not totally on their game. They tried to take my payment twice. Probably just need a little more time to perfect the standards.

  I was beyond excited to see Whataburger finally reach North Carolina! It was a staple when I lived in San Antonio and remains a 'must-eat' whenever I visit. This location did not disappoint—from the festive Easter decor to the incredible staff. The ladies at the register were so professional and welcoming; I wish their level of service could be bottled up and shared everywhere! They truly went out of their way for us. It made me miss Texas, but I'm so glad to have one nearby. I’m already crossing my fingers for a location closer to New Bern soon!

  We've been here twice and this may be the last for a while. The earlier crew when it opened was great insofar as friendliness and helpfulness. Today, not sure if the name of the girl taking orders, no eye contact, and you'd think the customers were and inconvenience rather than the purpose of her job. Bad attitude and imaptient. Please fix the service.

  Juan Vega I recently had the opportunity to visit Whataburger and was very satisfied with the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, providing prompt, courteous, and well-organized service. The quality of the food was outstanding. Everything was perfectly prepared, with excellent flavor and presentation. It is clear that there is a strong commitment to freshness and consistency in every order. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who values both great service and quality food.
