  The Wendy’s in Gastonia NC on the corner of Franklin and New Hope needs to decide what time they are opening. Sign says 6:30am but usually it is closer to 7am. During lunch the drive thru takes for ever. They only take 1or 2 orders at a time. I love Wendy's but not sure how much longer we can put up with this!

  I came here to share my experience, and found that MANY share my sentiments! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! Its been quite some time since I've been to this location, due to a different bad experience that I shared on here. The employee was wearing gloves while running the cash register, handling money, adjusting his zipper, grabbing drink cups by putting his fingers on the inside of them... all with the same pair of gloves on. He cursed me when I called him out on it, while exclaiming, "I'm wearing gloves!!" Obviously, incompetent to the purpose of wearing gloves. Today, several months after my last visit, I tried this location again, thinking surely by now, things would be better. I was the only car in drive-thru. No one answered, do I pulled to the windows, thinking the speaker might be broken. Employees on the inside kept passing the drive thru window, looking at me, but never acknowledging me. I continued to wait. By this time the drive thru is long, nearly wrapped around the building, and no one is being served. I drove to another establishment. The reviews don't lie. At this point, I'm just waiting for this location to close. Newly renovated, but not worth a damn.

  Yikes. DO NOT COME HERE. I was in a few nights ago. There was a woman standing at the drive thru just talking on her cell not helping anybody. 3 dudes walked by and just looked at me. I was the only person in the restaurant. Finally the poor dude at the register told me he was there 30 minutes after his shift was over and having a panic attack. Abd when I asked for crackers for the chili, he started to freak out. Took a phone call. To top it off, they threw the food upside down into the bag. Nuggets and fries were everywhere. Obviously the food was bad. But the service was spectacularly awful, and wildly unprofessional.

  The cashier could not stop staring at the people that just ordered. I got up to the register and he didnt say a word to me I had to go ummm huh im ready. He was too busy staring at the other people. The place was dirty, the drink machine hardly had available drinks. No ketchup in either ketchup dispenser. Not coming back. Cashier did not ask for my name or carry out or dine in.

  i came here around 9:21pm last night , order a biggie bag with a extra fry and sprite. i got home everything was fine, food was cold due to me making a few stops. i didn’t eat the burger because of the looks of it , it looked raw i even checked up under the sandwich and completely threw the sandwich away. i had a dream about maggots last night btw, NOW this morning i had no appetite, and everything was making me nauseous, now i have diarrhea and my stomach is gurgling. i don’t care for the money back we just need the people in there changing gloves properly and not cross contaminating food. i know this came from wendy’s because i have not ate anything prior to me getting it it was literally my first meal of the day. do better team
