On 12/23/25, we had the worst service experience I think I’ve ever had, all because of a rude bartender.
It started before we were even seated or spoke to her. When the hostess informed her that our party of nine was being sat in her section, her frustration was obvious through her body language. She gave us an ugly stare across the entire section, and immediately we knew what we were in for.
After we were seated, she came to take our drink order and rolled her eyes while doing so. When the drinks arrived, nearly everyone received the wrong drink—root beer instead of Pepsi, drinks placed on the wrong side of the table, etc. We understand mistakes happen, especially with large parties, but the issue was the manner in which the drinks were aggressively placed on the table. It was clear she was upset about something that had nothing to do with us, and it showed.
Right out of the gate, our party was displeased. When it came time to order food, she repeatedly cut people off because she couldn’t keep up typing on her tablet. Again, that’s understandable—but her tone was extremely rude and mean. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which was completely reasonable given our party size. However, the food was again aggressively thrown onto the table for no apparent reason.
At this point, our entire party wanted to leave due to how terrible the service was, but we had already been there about 45 minutes and were hungry, so we stayed. While she was placing the food, one member of our party realized their order was incorrect and politely mentioned it. She completely ignored and dismissed that guest, continued dropping off the rest of the food, and walked away.
We then requested a manager, as the situation had become ridiculous. The manager came out, took accountability, and apologized on her behalf very professionally. We requested the GM’s information, which was provided, along with 25% off coupons.
After the manager interaction, her attitude suddenly changed into a forced, condescendingly positive tone. Magically, we also started receiving refills. The food itself was great, but the service was absolutely terrible. Behind the bar after the interaction we could hear her throwing empty bottles aggressively into her waste bin so loud the entire restaurant could hear it.
When it came time to check out, she brought all three checks and we asked to use the 25% off due to the experience. She immediately told us no, stating it was for a future visit. We explained that we had no intention of returning and asked for manager approval to apply it now to make things right after such a ruined night. The manager approved it, though she did not inform us. She reprinted the checks, threw them on the table without saying a word, and walked away.
When she came back to collect our cards, we also pointed out that the menu incorrectly priced several items. She said she couldn’t do anything about it because the computer showed a different price, again with an awful attitude. At this point, she looked extremely frustrated, as if her manager had yelled at her and she was about to lose it.
We paid our bills and will never return to an establishment we have all been going to for over 10 years—myself for over 15. I’ve been coming here since I was 7 years old. I never thought one experience could completely burn a bridge, but I know I will genuinely cringe just driving by the place now.
