  I moved from Raleigh and this store has become my new neighborhood store to shop at. I want to shout out l wonderful staff here. Tisha the manager always has a smile and welcoming when coming in the store. I've had several other positive interactions from the stockers and cashier's.

  I see my review got taken down. So im posting it back. I will never forget it. Its 530pm, line over flowing in self checkout. Notice they always have the older black woman managing it with gray hair, she always busy. So I looked over at the standard check out. Its not busy. You have 2 women standing in the background observing. I walked over to em both, asked were they open. They told me no, mind you they not security, they're cashiers. An older hispanic lady, and a white woman with Dreads. They told me no, a black man who shops here regularly. The white woman with Dreads didnt open her register and walked over til it was so glarinly obivous, as they both were laughing and watching me hope back and forth between different registers. The register that was open was being run by a Yong black man. By the time she open her register up ans call me over someone a woman had cut in front of me. They both had the ability to open registers, both decided when and whom they wanted to serve. This the nice version of the original review. I havent been back since. Pay attention, notice who is always in self checkout, who is always on restock, who always on the cashier. About 15-30% doing total work of the store, its just like the military. Once you see it, you cant unsee it. When you got managers, not working pushing a little cart around, hiding out in office. Some folks been on restock for 10yrs. They get the easy check and find poor souls to do do 70-85% of the stores work. The self checkout, didnt make shopling here betyer, it made it worse.Pay attention

  The people that work there are awesome and do a great job, but I don’t understand why the store allows the homeless people to sit outside and harass the customers as they’re coming in and out and leaving all that trash by the front entrance it’s not very good curb appeal

  With so many Food Lion locations near me it's almost impossible not to shop here. Every store has wonderful staff (self check out and staff at register). Pricing is great and produce is always eye appealing and fresh.
