I’ve been here several times over the last year. I fell in love with the hard shell chicken tinga tacos! The flavor was so good and the tender shredded chicken was delicious! Well tonight I went back, really looking forward to those chicken tinga tacos and was soooooo disappointed. They have changed their menu and apparently their recipes on some things too. The chicken was not the same at all. It was very spicy, the chicken was not tender and the pieces were too big. The flavor of the seasoning on the chicken is completely different. I’m so very very sad. I really enjoyed eating there and was so happy to finally find a Mexican restaurant that made tasteful and seasoned chicken tacos, with tender meat and just all around so good. But I could hardly stomach down one of the three tacos I got tonight. Not the same taste at all as I loved. PLEASE bring back the old recipe for the chicken tinga tacos, it was SO much better than whatever this new one is now.

New to the area and sampling local establishments. We walked over to the restaurant from Barnes & Noble across the way. First time there for either of us. As luck would have it we got a first-day employee, Emma, being trained by a helpful and welcoming woman, Vivia (sp?), who greeted us in lieu of a hostess and helped us throughout our service. They were both very attentive and it was clear that this was a training scenario, complete with good examples throughout. I’m sure we’ll be back and I’m sure Emma will be a pro by then and Vivia the same welcoming presence as she was last night. Thanks to the both of them for a pleasant evening.
