- TDT&T DFeb 13, 20261.0The first gentleman working the line tonight had an excellent attitude. He greeted us warmly and set a positive tone. Unfortunately, the experience declined after that. The young woman who assisted us next seemed overwhelmed, and while I want to be mindful and not overly harsh, her customer service was extremely poor. Her demeanor came across as rude, her smile felt forced, and she lacked basic customer service awareness. For example, when I asked for something extra, she reacted as if the request was unreasonable—even though it’s common knowledge that extras come with an additional charge, and I was fully prepared to pay for it. Everyone who walks in is different, and it’s important for staff to understand how to communicate respectfully with all customers. The two young ladies at the register also need additional customer service training. They were not as dismissive as the previous employee, but they still lacked the professionalism and courtesy expected in a customer‑facing role. Will I return? Probably not. We recently relocated from Greenville, SC, purchased our home in Apex, and were only in Fayetteville visiting someone—so thankfully this won’t be our regular location. Management should be aware that the staff is a direct reflection of the leadership. I strongly encourage proper training and coaching to ensure customers receive the level of service they deserve.
