First time visiting this restaurant and I ordered the Rasta pasta with chicken and let me tell you it is spicy lol but good. Not sure if they offer different levels of spice to your food but if I do order that again I would definitely go down a spice level. I did have to wait 20+ minutes for my food though which I should’ve known something was up when I walked in and saw about 10 people sitting at tables with no food. Didn’t think the wait would be that long. If I do try this restaurant again I’ll definitely call and order 30+ minutes beforehand.

Tried to order in person 2 different times in the month of March. Stood in line for about 10 mins. Man behind the counter asked if I had been helped after the first 5 mins. , I said I need to order, and he asked me to hold on and no one came back…

I am tight blood boiling. I placed my order online for some Rasta pasta with salmon a whole hour before I pull up to the restaurant only to get to the restaurant and wait 20 to 25 minutes for my order then check back on my order. ask the lady how many how much longer would it be before my order is ready only for her to say we don’t have any salmon instead of just saying it from the beginning or asking me if I wanted something else Initially, when I asked was my order ready, she said it’s being prepared. That’s what even made me more tight cause I was lied to. I can’t lie. The food is always good, but today was the last straw for me trying to support this business. I did not like the way they went about things, especially when I had my mouth ready for my food only to find out there’s no salmon or the salmon hadn’t even been unthawed.

I had the Salmon Cheesesteak sandwich and Mac & Cheese with Yam side & I thought it was pretty tasty. I waited an appropriate amount of time, about 10-15 min after I ordered. I think this place should be judged by restaurant standards, not like fast food, even though the prices are fairly inexpensive for most of what's on the menu. I had one of the pricer options, at $22, because it had Salmon. I'm pescatarian (vegetarian w/seafood diet), so my choices were somewhat limited, but I still found a ton of great tasty choices that didn't feel like I was left out of this cuisine (a lot of Jamaican places don't have vegetarian options except plantains, so I appreciated some choices). The cheesesteak sauce was really great and spicy. The mac & cheese with cinnamon spiced yams were really tasty and a nice unusual choice i've never tried before. I enjoyed it and i'd like to go back.

Decided to come to this restaurant after seeing a TikTok video. Came in and was met by an unpleasant cashier. Her energy was dry and she was slightly rude. In other words she was not welcoming at all. She did not smile and her tone was very dry. It almost made me reconsider ordering but did anyway. For a restaurant where you could spend an easy $40 for lunch I would expect a little bit more gratitude from the person taking my order. The aesthetic of the place was nice however, the restroom reeked of urine and there wasn't any toilet tissue or paper towels. Other than that the food was good not spectacular. Would I come again? Probably not and that will be mainly due to the service.
