  We enjoy dining here. This time it was carry out. Food was delicious, Staff very friendly. We are on a cancer journey and not really eating balanced or very appetizing meals. Today's Succotash meal really hit the spot! We ordered a little extra for the leftovers:)

  My favorite restaurant in the Triangle! Vibes are great and the people are genuine. The food takes me back to the French Quarter. Delicious!

  Gumbo is spiced just enough to make your nose run and the hot honey cauliflower is fantastic. My wife had the fried chicken which prepped and fried in our view. Excellent. Have enough left over for at least one full meal and maybe a snack. Kind of hidden and drove by it the first time.

  I’m from Iowa and was in town for work, I found this gem online and was extremely impressed with the food and service. I had the catch of the day (flounder), it was cooked to perfection as were the sides. I additionally had the creole gumbo which was delicious. We don’t have good southern cuisine in Iowa and I haven’t had food this good since living in New Orleans (over 20 years ago). If I ever make it back to the west coast I’ll definitely be stopping in again!

  What a great vibe to walk into not knowing what to expect. The service was spot on and very welcoming. The music fit the vibe nicely. Every dish was amazing. 4 of us were there to celebrate Duke match day and this place didn’t disappoint. We started with the mussels and garlic bread. We all loved them. We wanted to drink the sauce. My fried green tomatoes were amazing. A celebration in my mouth. The brisket empanada was over the top with the succotash. Mmmm mmmm good! Fried cat fish nailed. Gumbo delicious too. I hope you go hungry because you might not be able to finish the “lighter fare” never mind the full meals. Nice job folks you have a first class place that serves amazing food. We will be back.
