- BHBruce HutchingsNov 13, 20255.0I like to eat at the Bonefish Grill whenever I am in Durham on business. It is walking distance from the Hyatt Place Southpoint where I stay. I'm always alone and I sit at the bar. I came in on Thursday night November 13th and had a small house salad and a sirloin steak with a side of asparagus and mushroom and spinach risotto. The food was prepared perfectly. The steak was good but the risotto was exceptional. Nicole took care of me at the bar and was wonderful. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Durham.

I ordered the bourbon salmon, mash potatoes and asparagus. The salmon was little a more overcooked than I’m use to. I ordered take home meal and the salmon portion was noticeably smaller so will likely only eat in for the future. The bread is always enjoyable. On prior visits, I’ve had their bang bang shrimp (my favorite), blue lemon drop martini, their calamari at a different location which were all fantastic. They also temporarily stopped serving lunch but see they have added it back.
