  I will never be using this food lion for to go grocery pick up again. I’ve had numerous issues with them forgetting a bunch of items that I ordered as well as forgetting whole bags full of groceries and me having to come back to the store to get them. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere for my groceries.

  This is normally my go to grocery store because I don’t believe in monopolies like Walmart but this morning I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and I stopped on my way home to get some things so I won’t have to leave again for a little while hopefully. Out of nowhere I got really sick and even vomitted in the floor a couple times. I understand that is disgusting but the employees whispering and giggling and talking about it loudly enough for me to hear when I went by was surely humiliating enough to make sure I never return to this location at least if I go to food lion at all again in my future. God willing I live to have one. Worst experience of my life.

  We went to pick up some things later Sunday evening, the 16th of March 2026. The only full service line open was run by a dark haired girl. As she was supposed to be checking out people, she was also busy harassing her coworker, a young man who was cleaning his register, and sweeping and trying to do his job, correctly. In front of customers she was telling him, "You don't need to be doing all that, they don't even check if you do it or sweep." He stayed quiet through most of it, but he finally told her, "I do it because I'm loyal." And she basically rolled her eyes. This all in front of customers. This is so inappropriate.
