Stopped in for a few items. There was only self checkouts open with 5 people standing around just talking doing absolutely nothing. I get having self checkouts when you’re short handed but when that many people are standing around getting paid and I have to use the self checkout is ridiculous.

I live not 1 minute down the road from this location so this is pretty much the only grocery store I use and I don’t normally leave reviews like this but considering I had two of the employees trying to tell me that there was no way for me to manually put my card number in for my WIC card, when I’ve had to do it like that now for the last couple weeks since my swipe hasn’t been working, and I tried to tell them that yes there is because I’ve done it before and they both went straight to there’s no way to do that and they were talking to me as if I was lying or stupid or both. I’m sorry but times are really tough and every dollar you can save counts right now and the way they treated me wasn’t okay. The supervisor ended up hitting the manual EBT button for me to type my card number in and yes it did work so it showed that I wasn’t lying or making this up but at the end of the day I was treated in such a way that now I don’t feel comfortable coming back and I live walking distance from this location. I’ve worked in retail and customer service for my entire working career and yes i know first hand that the customer is most definitely NOT always right but I wasn’t rude to them and I wasn’t trying to make a scene or act as if I knew more about their job than they did, I just told them that yes there’s a way to manually put the number in and the immediate response from both of them jumping straight to no you can’t and then the supervisor very rudely hit the monitor and said here just try that and turned and walked away without another word was uncalled for and turns out that was the button they had to hit and it worked but it just wasn’t necessary that kind of treatment and it really hurts that now I don’t want to go back to that store that I’ve been going to for years because of the proximity to my house and will now be having to use my gas money to go to one further down the road because I just don’t feel comfortable coming back to this location. I just hope that if another customer has to ask for them to do what I had asked of them that this was a learning lesson for them both and hopefully they now know what to do and won’t treat anyone else the way they treated me. Because that really sucked and although I wasn’t lying or making things up I do feel so embarrassed and it feels like they were almost wanting me to be a problem customer and purposely make me feel dumb.

The aisles become almost impossible to navigate when restocking, otherwise a good experience.
