The owner/manager of this particular JJ's is garbage. They trear their staff like garbage and they get the wrath of customers, like me (before I realized that there were literally, only two, young teenagers running the entire restaurant, [plus one driver for the whole, University area]). Those employees were so patient with me, and deserve GIANT kudos.
I placed an order for delivery. In the past, my delivery order arrived within 15-20 min (it's literally 2.5 miles up the road from my house). After waiting for an hour, no updates in the app, I got dressed, and drove to the location.
There were 2 young people running the whole show. The drive through was quite busy, and there were several delivery orders coming through. I had a bad migraine and had not eaten all day, and was trying to take care of my family. I was not very happy.
Let me tell you: the sweet young lady and man just listened to me, apologized sincerely, re-made my order, and I was on my way. I just feel really badly that they are not being treated (or compensated) the way that they deserve to be treated and compensated.
I will not be ordering from this, UNC Charlotte, University Jimmy John's again. You, owner/manager need to take a really hard look at yourself. It's gonna be Jersey Mike's from now on. They don't do delivery, but apparently JJ's can't either.
