Today I placed an online order... It wasn't ready when I arrived and waited over 30 mins. I placed an online order for convenience and fast paced service... Any who.. I ordered the fry chicken and you can select a sauce .. usually I get the sauce on the side (never had to put it in notes) it's just always on the side in a round container. Today the sauce was on the chicken... It was sauce everywhere.. on the chicken... Rice.. cabbage.. plantains... Sometimes when I'm there the cook asks if I want sauce on the side.. but this time it was just dumped on the food. Everything taste like Hennessy gravy lol. And it made the chicken soggy and not fried like I like it! Also it was two bites of cabbage! I'm not understanding why the cabbage portions are so small???? I seen other comments with the same complaint. Less rice more cabbage!! The food was just alright today... I would like to know when the guy with the locs works bc the food is always good and portion sizes for cabbage is good too. I asked if I could just order more chicken ... And was told I would have to order a whole plate again... Idk... Should of been able to just order chicken by it's self.. but i didn't finish my plate.. And felt I wasted my money. Unfortunately I will remember to ask for sauce on side for future. Also the app has not worked for a while so I place the order online.. But doesn't seem like my orders are linking to my account.. Not sure what's going on. But I usually write reviews for good service.. but I just had to say this! Sorry!!

- LJLady JOct 9, 20251.0The food could be great if you give equal portions. If I order a veggie plate, I’d like equal portions. Not just half of a teaspoon of cabbage, mad rice, and mad mac. I like cabbage too. The lady at the counter who’s always there needs to work on her customer service and stop snapping at people who don’t understand her and her slow speech. Also, she talks about customers. Never talk about people who choose to go out of their way to patronize you. Unprofessional. I won’t be back.
