We wanted to go for a great experience to have with family together but this was way over priced and we will not be returning. Everything came up to around $300 for the game, food, and drinks. No one explained to us the moment we signed-in the game would start because we were trying to order our food and ended up losing 30 minutes of our time. We were all new so we paid for each new member plus we added 15 more minutes for the game since we lost time. The drinks and food was over priced. There no one there to really help with how it works so we were just left to figure everything out. I won't be returning to do this because its definitely not worth that much and would not recommend to anyone to go.

The kitchen is slow. I would recommend you order your food as soon as you sit at the table. I was rushed by my server to leave once she realized my food wasn’t going to make it in time

This was my first time at Topgolf. I was super excited about it, and while it was sorta fun, I don't think it was worth it for the price. Drinks are pretty expensive ... which might explain why prices are not shown on the menu. Also, the golfing itself for an hour was close to $70. We were on the lower floor and I felt like it would have been more fun on one of the upper floors. I think pricing on the lower floor should be a bit less.
And the tipping. So I'll preface this by saying I am a server and firmly believe in tipping your server. However, I do not understand the concept of tipping at least 20% off the golf tab. I think the server is supposed to show you how to play the various games, set the screen and players up, etc. However, ours didn't really do this (and I'm not mad about it) as it all was pretty self explanatory.
I did tip well based on both our drink tab and golf tab but I likely will not be back.
(It's not the servers fault; I just don't agree with the business model.)

Excellent staff at this location! We visit every few weeks with friends and it’s consistently a great experience without any pushy upselling. The few times we’ve had any issues, they’re swiftly corrected and the servers and managers are always polite and professional. The site itself is clean and well maintained as well. Overall, it’s great for a mid-week break from the grind with friends or a professional team outing/happy hour, even for beginners.

On July 31, 2025, my 12-year old child was attending the summer camp program and was threatened by a Topgolf summer camp worker at the Charlotte location. The employee told him she would “punch him in the face” and “put him in the street so he could get hit by a car.” She even removed his chair while he was eating, forcing him to stand. Another camper witnessed the incident.
I immediately contacted management, and the situation was reported to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. After my formal complaint, Topgolf confirmed the worker was terminated, but only after my report. While I appreciate that action, it’s alarming that someone in a sales/administrative role with no childcare qualifications was ever placed in charge of supervising children.
Parents trust Topgolf’s camps to provide a safe, professional environment for kids. This situation raises serious concerns about staff screening, background checks, and training for youth programs. There were also delays in Topgolf’s cooperation with law enforcement, which made the process even more frustrating.
Families should be cautious before enrolling their children in Topgolf’s camps until the company can demonstrate proper oversight, qualified supervision, and accountability.
